Some of you may know Andrew SIXberry...or as we call him SIX...a local from Satellite Beach and a good friend of my sons had an idea and heres how it went...
Lil Hippie:
SIX, tell me about GBA and its history and bright future?
SIX:
GBA Skateboards started on 7/7/07 as a complete coincidence. We started the company as pretty much an excuse to go on a tour around the country and then we started selling our boards and shirts to locals and then we began to blow up. Now we have our boards in many shops on the East Coast of Florida and we are getting some in shops around the country. We came up with the name Guilty By Association because all skateboarders and friends of skateboarders are considered Guilty By Association even if they are not doing anything wrong. Right now we are working on starting the GBA Skateboards Army. The Army is basically a skate team with three levels, like an Army, and much more members than a regular team.
Skaters can sign up for the GBA Army at www.GBAarmy.com
We are still doing tours and we have a couple more planned for summer and we are going to Atlanta in two days.
The website for the company is www.GBASkateboards.com.
We also do a lot of MySpace advertising as well.
Our MySpace is www.myspace.com/gbaskateboards.
We have a spot where kids can get a GBA layout for themselves.
THANKS SIX!
