Swami says... .SYNOPSIS...A GALE CENTERED OFF THE CAROLINA COAST WILL REMAIN
NEARLY STATIONARY FRIDAY...THEN BEGIN TO MOVE SLOWLY EASTWARD
OVER THE WEEKEND. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE
SOUTHEAST STATES THIS WEEKEND...ALLOWING SURFACE WINDS TO
DIMINISH. HOWEVER...LARGE LONG PERIOD NORTHEAST SWELLS WILL
CONTINUE TO GENERATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS NEAR INLETS THROUGH THE
WEEKEND.
Surfer terms! Yippee! Surfs up weekend and more...SWAMI.....
Fri 80° 66° 8-8 mph | Sat 81° 69° 9-9 mph | Sun 83° 62° 12-16 mph | Mon 78° 64° 6 mph |
Mon./16th: A repeat on Sun, winds a bit more out of the north and leftover swell waist+ maybe a few bigger sets...
Tues. 17th: Good news? More swell still coming in and semi light winds from the NE....
Wed. 18th -Thur./19h: Same swell waist+ bigger? Winds shift more to the east at 10+mph...
Looks like plenty of surf...Could be a repeat for Thur...
Tgif./13th: Leftover swell and semi calm winds...
Sat./14th: Ground swell waist to chest+ bigger sets, we hope! Winds NW in the morning shfiting to NE and slacking off a bit. Should be a fun surf day.....This swell could surprize us with some bigger sets. Just don't want to hype anybody up! Let's hope we get the goods!!! SWAMI...
Sun. 15th: More of the same, a lil smaller and not too much wind from the NE, could be NW early...
