July in Brevard County: it’s a hot time for blazing summer events such as the highly anticipated annua
l Beach Bash in Satellite Beach! Each year, Sports Page hosts this all-day concert outside in their parking lot, despite the intense summertime heat. This year, Deuterman Productions put a cool spin on the event by adding an Olympic-size pool directly in front of the stage, so the concert goers could “chill out” while enjoying the show.
The Supervillains 4th Annual Beach Bash showcased 14 bands and four DJs from across the state of Florida. The show kicked off at high noon with local reggae-rock favorites Pakalolo of Melbourne rocking the early crowd and creating a fun vibe to set the day off the right way. As the crowd grew, Special Blend (Palm Bay), Bless Ed (Clearwater), and UNRB (Tampa) each delivered a solid performance to keep the party going strong. After the first four bands, the Beach Bash hosted a bikini contest featuring contestants from all over Florida.
