Cape Canaveral Late October Fishing Report

Cape Canaveral Late October Fishing Report

A premier fishing guide charter captain..

Can you say On Fire? (No pun intended) but wow. The last few weeks have been great. Bait has been around and not that hard to catch. If you can’t find the pogies you can for sure catch the mullet. We have done a few trips offshore and a few trips inshore. Kings and mahi have been eating live bait and dead bait. If you cant find your pogies grab a box of cigar minnows and tip it with a skirt. After the winds kicked up we had to stay inshore and give that a whirl. And honestly, Tarpon, reds, Spanish, bones and cobia close to the beach have been incredible! Find the bait pods and your good to go. Some days there up near the bight (left out of cape) and other days down towards Patrick. Bring plenty of leader material and hooks. 60# flouro and 8/0 circles. Good Luck!
