Offshore Fishing & Coastal Waters Fishing Report
Sebastian Inlet Fishing Reports
Cape Canaveral (11/20 Fish Tales Tours) Schools of bluefish have been spotted just south of Kelly park, find the bait and birds and you'll find the fish. Sheephead fishing continues to improve around the locks, with cooler water come the bigger fish. Speckled trout fishing remains good while the redfish bite is spotty at best. Trout season remains closed in the south part of the state but is open here more
Cape Canaveral (11/15 Fish Tales Tours) The key this weekend will be to stay out of the wind. The barge canal will provide protection from the northwest breeze with fresh cut mullet or pinfish the choice bait for reds. Fish the chunks right on the bottom and be patient, the cooler water has slowed the bite some. The south side of the lock has produced some bluefish and jacks this week, both species taken more
Cape Canaveral (11/09 Fish Tales Tours) Looks like some tough fishing conditions with a strong east wind predicted to blow for the next few days. Best areas will be the lee side of the spoil islands and the east shore of the river. Live finger mullet will work best at first light for big trout and reds. Structure fishing remains good for sheephead and mangrove snapper, both eager to take in a live fiddler more

Surfing, fishing. Surfing, fishing. That’s how it’s been going for Central Florida’s people of the sea lately. One weekend we’ve got beautiful glassy the surf, the next week its flat and great conditions for flats fishing or going offshore. Alright, the dolphin run has about petered out to a whisper, but don’t let all that pessimistic talk on the radio cool your jets. There are still plenty of mahi to be found, you just gotta know where to look. Right now there is warm, clear water in 60 feet off Sebastian and Port Canaveral and there are flying fish and weedlines galore. Now I know what you’re thinking, there’s no

The weather is still perfect. The water temp. is near 76. The tide is outgoing in the mornings. I believe it was starting to go out around 8 a.m. We had a little bit of a difficult time finding good bait size crabs. After we found a dozen crabs we headed to go fish. We skipped getting croakers. On our run there we found some Bonita ambushing some glass minnows. We both casted out and
