Sebastian Inlet Fishing Reports
Cape Canaveral (11/04 Captain Chris) WINDY WINDY WINDY. This is not making it any easier out there. I went out 2 days ago and it wasn't too bad. It was definately building as the afternoon went on. I headed south and found a lot of pogies near the steeple. One throw of the net and I was loaded up. Never saw anything but small sharks on them. No tarpon or anything else busting on them. I headed out more
Cape Canaveral (11/01 Captain Chris) My trailer is finally fixed and I'll be out tomorrow. my friends have been doing ok on the days the weather let them get out. Kings have been doing pretty good pulling dead bait. Tarpon also have been out there down the beach on pogies. haven't heard of much lately. Charters have been really slow. ill post after tomorrows trip. more
Cape Canaveral (10/31 Fish Tales Tours) Water temperature is back to normal but water clarity is poor making for tough fishing conditions. Now may be the time to try your luck for a huge black drum under one of the bridges. Make sure to use at least 100lb test with 150lb leader or you'll never get them up. The flats and drop offs are still holding trout, first light is best. Look to the shoreline, under the more

Surfing, fishing. Surfing, fishing. That’s how it’s been going for Central Florida’s people of the sea lately. Alright, the dolphin run has about petered out to a whisper, but don’t let all that pessimistic talk on the radio cool your jets. There are still plenty of mahi to be found, you just gotta know where to look. Right now there is warm, clear water in 60 feet off Sebastian and Port Canaveral and there are flying fish and weedlines galore. Now I know what you’re thinking, there’s no

The weather is still perfect. The water temp. is near 76. The tide is outgoing in the mornings. I believe it was starting to go out around 8 a.m. We had a little bit of a difficult time finding good bait size crabs. After we found a dozen crabs we headed to go fish. We skipped getting croakers. On our run there we found some Bonita ambushing some glass minnows. We both casted out and
