Floridian Beckmann Leads Again After Oakley Pro Junior at Trestles

Travis Beckmann, 20 year old from Vero Beach, Florida finds himself leading the current ASP North America Junior Pro Ratings. This past weekend Beckmann found his groove in the Oakley-Nike-6.0 Junior Pro held at Trestles.  Trestles is regarded as the "PREMIERE" Surf Spot in Southern California, and Beckmann shined throughout the final day. Beckmann was laying down clean lines and fins out tail slides on his way to an exciting final.  Finishing third, the points moved him into the #1 Spot.
 
 For the second year in a row, Beckmann finds himself leading the ASP North America Junior ratings. Beckmann was regarded as the "Underdog" throughout the event.
 
"Im stoked that this result puts me in the top spot."  Beckmann says, ”I am happy the way this event went, and I am looking forward to the Arnette Pro Junior in June.”
 
Beckmann's main sponsors are Matt Kechele Surfboards, Freak Traction, and Kulcha-Shok Music.
