Donate?? You got to be kidding me?? You're already making a freaking ton of money and then you want me to give you more??
If it were only true... The reality of it all is that Surf Guru makes just enough money to pay the bills and have a little fun from time to time with our fans.

Why do you want even more money??
In sticking true to our slogan of "Keep Surf Cams Free" we've put ourselves in a self-defeating situation. When we invest in and develop the new features you keep asking for, the increase in advertising revenue doesn't compensate for the development and any additional operating costs. Basically two steps forward, three steps back.

Why not create a subscription service??
Surf Guru has purposely chosen not to introduce a paid subscription service like other surfing websites. That means everybody gets the same access to the same cam streams and same data. In fact, we have also purposely made it so you don't even have to create a login account.

You're selling ads, what about all the money you get from advertisers??
Yes, Surf Guru does make money from banner ads and sponsorships. If we didn't Surf Guru wouldn't exist. Keep in mind that a lot of times we may trade out advertising for clothing and gear, gift certificates, or services that we then give away during our live events or other promotions.

If I donate, what's in it for me??
You're helping keep Surf Guru free. Not only that, but it allows us to develop and enhance Surf Guru. Surf Guru has never had a start up budget or investment money. Surf Guru has been built on re-invested money. In fact, did you know Buddha still has a full time job??

What will you do with my money??
Surf Guru has big plans and unfortunately all of them cost big money. Here's just a sample list of our wish list.
