Final Day Volcom Fiji Pro Called ON at Cloudbreak

CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Monday, June 11, 2012) – The final day of the Volcom Fiji Pro has been called on this morning, commencing at 7:30am in clean four-to-six foot (1.5 – 2 metre) surf at Cloudbreak.
Event No. 4 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, the Volcom Fiji Pro will play crucial role in the hunt for the 2012 ASP World Title as
Mick Fanning (AUS), 30,
Julian Wilson (AUS), 23,
Adriano de Souza (BRA), 25,
C.J. Hobgood (USA), 32,
Gabriel Medina (BRA), 18, and reigning 11-time ASP World Champion
Kelly Slater (USA), 40, all remain in the hunt for the event title.
“We have clean conditions this morning and have opted for an earlier-than-usual start to secure the best tidal window for the finish,” Matt Wilson, Volcom Fiji Pro Event Director, said. “We’ll be commencing at 7:30am and plan on finishing the event this morning. Good luck to all our remaining competitors.”
Up first this morning will be Kelly Slater (USA), 40, against Julian Wilson (AUS), 23, in Quarterfinal 3.
